Oasis and FWA Exchange

So, to add a service to the Oasis panel, I need to create a customer and charge them through the old system to keep the services active? I’m quite confused. I thought that adding a customer to Oasis would simply charge me for the service, and the cost would be deducted from my FWA funds. Oliver just informed me that adding them in both now is the correct procedure, but I’m still not sure. So, the customer pays through FWA, and I pay through the new system. Where does the difference go how do I get my difference does it go in my FWA account?

Hey! I’ll circle back with more details soon once I have full clarity on the issue.

In the meantime, I wanted to explain how the billing side of things works:

You’ll be creating customer profiles through your admin dashboard, which is where you’ll charge your customers and receive payments from them directly.

On the flip side, your payments to us for devices and active services, are handled separately through your customer portal (the one connected directly to Nomad). That’s where you’ll place orders and pay the wholesale rates.

So just to clarify:

  • What you charge your customers is totally up to you
  • You keep the profit margin
  • You only pay us the wholesale price

Hope that clears it up a bit! Let me know if you want me to break it down further or send over a quick walkthrough.

Please read this article: Major Announcement – FWA is Now Two Powerful Programs

To add to this:

Both systems operate independently and offer exceptional services.

The key differences are:

  • FWA OASIS – We do not manage your billing. You simply add the modem to your dashboard, we activate it, and you can start surfing. Billing is handled on a daily basis directly within the dashboard.
  • FWA AGENT Program – Includes everything FWA OASIS offers, plus a billing platform for your end users, a full-featured website where users can activate service and order modems, and a backend where you can view and manage your customers.

FWA OASIS operates independently, and the same applies to FWA Agent.

Could you please outline your confusions and pain points so we can assist you better?

Thank you so I was right, I handle the billing, and invoicing for the customer with the Oasis side?

I was told that I had to do both and that is what confused me I attached a screen shot of the message that said I had to do both otherwise the service would auto suspend.

If there are not enough funds in our wallet will the Oasis system automatically charge our card on file?

@CircleWireless

No, it won’t. You will need to fund your wallet.

You may receive an email notification prompting you to fund your wallet in case of a failed transaction.

Okay, so for. Ow it’s manual funding of the wallet.
Thanks.

You can fund your wallet for future charges; your funds are kept safe and secure.

Yes, @My-MicRoMot, you are correct.

You handle the billing to your customer yourself.

OASIS only take care of activating your modem, managing it, and monitoring it on the platform and charge you a small daily usage fee.

You can check out GeoFencing Feature, but it only works with select few modems.

With GeoFencing, you can see where your modem is and choose to add a fence in that area.

If the modem leaves your GeoFence, it will be automatically suspended, this is a cool feature.

Yes I unsuspended the line that I added in there and I’m testing the service with her right now. I had done that the other day however it automatically suspended on its own and that is why I questioned the billing part. So before I reactivated it, I wanted to get a clear answer as to how the activation should’ve gone, and if I needed to set up the customer like I was told in the other panel. Last time it’s suspended within 24 hours so I’m just watching today to make sure that it doesn’t auto suspend because that would be pretty inconvenient if I set up a customer and then I was having to turn a line back on right after it got suspended I have money in my FWA balance so I’m not sure why it’s suspended on its own.

Hi @My-MicRoMot

Thank you, Please do tell us if this issue still persist.

Also this Line is only being managed by FWA OASIS and not on another system ?
