T-mobile expected speeds with optimal signal

What is the expected up to speed on the t-mobile network?
My phone (t-mobile) gets over 600 - 1,200 Mbps and yet my test units all get around 60-120 Mbps. I’ve tried 2 different units so far. Different manufacturers.

Hey @kmitre
T-Mobile supports speeds up to 500–600 Mbps, depending on several key factors:

  1. Signal Strength – Ensure the modem/router is receiving strong, stable signal bars.
  2. Network Coverage – Performance varies based on 4G/LTE or 5G availability in your area.
  3. Modem/Router Placement – Place your device near windows or elevated positions for optimal reception.
  4. Device Capability – The router must:
  • Support C-band frequencies (for enhanced 5G performance).
  • Be carrier unlocked.
  • Be compatible with T-Mobile and Verizon.
  • Support high-speed bandwidth throughput.

Please verify these points. If you’re still experiencing lower speeds after confirming, let me know and we’ll investigate further.

Are the inseego modems available to purchase yet?

The process is still under works, It will be available for all our customers soon.
Stay tuned for upcoming announcements!

Okay.
Another question… Will there eventually be volume discounts on our cost for service to consumers? 2.50, 2.00 & .50 per day respectively leave little room for profit.

Also, i have not received a reaponse to the antenna question.

We’re currently not offering discounts of that kind, but we’re actively working on future pricing options, exciting updates are on the way as the program continues to evolve.

As for the Verizon Dragon modems, the antennas you mentioned will not be compatible. These modems are already equipped with a strong signal reception capability (up to 14–15 miles radius), making external antennas unnecessary in most cases.
To ensure optimal performance:

  • Place the modem near a window or open space.
  • Avoid surrounding it with metal objects.
  • Adjust the built-in antennas properly for the best directional signal strength.

We have lots of folks with metal roofs and limited windows in the home here in florida which often times interfere with reception inside the home versus just outside the door. Do you have any antenna recommendations?

Thanks for the feedback guys. I was able to push around 350 Mbps to areas that didn’t have any service before. We are a WISP so we are used to outdoor installs. LTE/5G is new to us.

what device are you using for the T-Mobile sim cards? We are still actively looking for a good strong device to offer our customers.

I have a TMobile SIM card that I purchased on 5/29. It was working and now it is not. I added the SIM as a BYOD and it says paused . Cannot activate subscription. FUnds are in the account

@tfarmer8 Can you please provide me with the ICCID and IMEI of the device and can you please confirm if you were able to remove and re-add the device to your OASIS platform?
Please confirm so that I can move forward with this accordingly.

It is a modem of mine. Here is the SIM8901882014700175438

I added the SIM card and it said modem activated but it says “Subscription cannot be resumed”

Whatever that means

I removed it and added it back but still the same result

@tfarmer8 can you please provide me witht the screenshot of the error that you are currently facing?
This will help me escalte and get the issue investigated with haste.

Tried in this hotspot and another modem. My customer is experiencing this

If the SIM is active, the device should not matter

@tfarmer8 can you please verify and check if this is the correct ICCID you added back to OASIS?
Aditionally can you please confirm if this was bought through OASIS or through a local vendor?

I’m checking this on the backend in the mean while

I bought this SIM card on the Oasis. It was working yesterday but now can’t even see it on Oasis and I added it again
