Introducing FWA Exchange v0.1

:globe_with_meridians: Introducing FWA Exchange v0.1

A platform built for the builders of tomorrow’s wireless internet.

:rocket: A New Chapter Begins

We’re super excited to announce the first release of the FWA Exchange — what we’re calling Version 0.1. This is the foundational launch of something bigger, bolder, and entirely unique in the wireless industry. While this version is early, it represents a huge step forward in giving you powerful, visual, and flexible tools to build your own wireless business from the ground up.

Whether you’re looking to launch your own branded ISP, manage a fleet of modems, or bring scalable internet access to an RV park, property, or niche community — **FWA Exchange is your new command center.**We’re thrilled to officially introduce you to FWA Exchange Version 0.1 — the very first release of a platform that represents not just a product milestone, but a movement.

This isn’t just about modems and SIMs.This is about giving you full-stack control to build your own wireless business — whether you’re starting an RV park ISP, managing modems across dozens of locations, or simply exploring how to run a lean and profitable wireless side hustle.

FWA Exchange is your playground. Your launchpad. Your toolkit. And Version 0.1 is just the beginning.

:brick: What Exactly Is FWA Exchange?

FWA Exchange is a next-generation interface that lets you:

  • Buy and configure SIM + modem combinations (what we call “stacks”)
  • Manage and visualize your entire fleet from one dashboard
  • Track your spending in real-time through a simple wallet system
  • Turn connectivity into a business, a service, or a source of recurring revenue

Built on top of the same wireless engine that powers Nomad Internet, the Exchange is designed for anyone who wants to resell, redistribute, or reinvent internet delivery.

:light_bulb: The Power of the Stack

The core concept of FWA Exchange is the “FWA Stack.”

A FWA Stack is a modular unit made up of a SIM + a modem. Each one is a self-contained connection, individually trackable, controllable, and billable.

Here some FWA Stack combination examples:

  • :white_check_mark: Verizon SIM + Verizon Dragon Modem
  • :white_check_mark: T-Mobile SIM + Inseego FX2000e
  • :white_check_mark: Verizon SIM + Inseego FX2000e
  • :white_check_mark: Your Own Device (BYOD) + Verizon SIM
  • :white_check_mark: Your Own Device (BYOD) + T-Mobile SIM

Each FWA Stack:

  • Has a unique daily operating cost
  • Can be paused or resumed anytime
  • Is limited in supply we will only create a finite amount of a certain stack
  • Enhanced Stacks come alive when using FWA-certified hardware (e.g. SSID control, geofencing, modem health)

At launch, our first FWA Stack is:

Verizon SIM + Verizon Dragon Modem

  • :money_bag: $2.50/day when active
  • :pause_button: $0.50/day when paused

More stacks will be released in waves — each tailored to different use cases, budgets, and business goals.

:hammer_and_wrench: BYOD Stack Is Supported — With Tradeoffs

We know some of you want to bring your own hardware. We support that! But here’s the tradeoff:

Feature Nomad-Supported Stack BYOD Stack
Daily billing :white_check_mark: :white_check_mark:
Pause/Resume :white_check_mark: :white_check_mark:
Geofencing :white_check_mark: :cross_mark:
SSID/Password control :white_check_mark: :cross_mark:
Signal stats & diagnostics :white_check_mark: :cross_mark:
Visual stack identity :white_check_mark: Limited

We’re not locking anyone out — but the more you use our integrated devices, the more value you unlock.

:world_map: Explore Mode: Visualize Your Network

  • See where your devices are located (for GPS-enabled stacks)
  • Track deployments across multiple regions
  • Spot-check modem status in real time

:credit_card: Billing & Wallet System

  • Stacks draw down on your balance daily
  • Pause a stack to reduce your rate
  • Low balance? Stacks automatically suspend until reloaded

No invoices. No billing headaches. Just real-time visibility into your operating cost.

:brick: Why FWA Echange Version 0.1 is Special

This release isn’t about a “finished” product. It’s about putting real tools in real hands — and watching what happens when smart, driven people start building.

We’ve been working behind the scenes for months to:

  • Lay the groundwork for true modular connectivity
  • Build tight hardware-software integrations
  • Create a visual experience that’s actually enjoyable to use
  • And start creating the wireless marketplace of the future

:crystal_ball: What’s Coming Next?

Here’s a peek at what’s coming soon:

  • :repeat_button: More FWA Stacks – with different pricing models and modem types
  • :electric_plug: API Access – for developers and enterprise partners
  • :hammer_and_wrench: Advanced modem controls – like reboot, firmware status, and mesh integration
  • :trophy: Leaderboards & gamification – engage with the community and earn rewards
  • :package: Marketplace features – trade stacks, preorders, bundle promos
  • :busts_in_silhouette: Forum integration – a built-in place to learn, share, and collaborate

And this is just the start.

:brain: Why We Built This

We’ve watched the wireless industry make internet reselling confusing, technical, and expensive.

We decided to flip the model.

FWA Exchange is:

  • Easy to start
  • Visual and intuitive
  • Affordable and scalable
  • Friendly to both beginners and experts

Whether you’re managing a fleet of 100 modems, launching Wi-Fi at a campground, or just curious about wireless, FWA Exchange gives you the tools — and the freedom — to create.

:wrapped_gift: One More Thing…

This announcement marks the initial release access of FWA Exchange v0.1 — our private beta launch available exclusively to forum members and early insiders.

We’re not doing a full public announcement just yet — that’s coming later this week. But as part of our ongoing commitment to this community, we’ll always roll out the biggest updates, features, and tools here first, before the rest of the world knows they exist.

We believe that the people who’ve helped us shape this vision — our builders, resellers, experimenters, and early adopters — deserve to be the first to explore, test, and grow with us.

:egg: Hidden Feature: The Modem Easter Egg

While the FWA Store prepares to go live, we’ve included a special Easter egg feature you can try right now:

If you — or one of your customers — already has an active Nomad Internet account, you can add that modem into FWA Exchange to create your first test stack.

:white_check_mark: It won’t affect your existing Nomad service
:white_check_mark: You won’t be billed in FWA Exchange for this modem
:white_check_mark: It’s purely a way to get hands-on, experiment, and explore what’s possible

This is a great chance to play around with the dashboard, start understanding how stacks behave, and visualize the future of your wireless business inside the system.

That’s all part of the process.
Just be patient, and please report any technical issues you experience, so we can squash bugs fast and keep improving every day.

:tada: Welcome to the Future of Internet

This is just version 0.1. But the foundation is strong. And we can’t wait to see what you build on it.

So sign up. Log in. Create your first stack. And start building your wireless empire — one modem at a time.

Welcome to FWA Exchange.

Wonderful! We’re in!
We added our Easter Egg modem… the Demo modem that we received from Nomad and we pay $99.95 a month for… is there a way to transfer this to our account so we are paying cost and not retail?
Also, should we add our current customers?

I’m excited to see where this goes. I’ve been beta testing software since the dark ages of dial up internet. If there’s something that needs to be ‘broken’ to make it better, I’ll fiind the problems. Unfortunately I missed all this wonderful energy yesterday.

Hi @NexusTechsNV, Love the energy — sounds like we’ve got a true veteran in the mix! We’re glad to have you on board, even if you missed some of the buzz yesterday. There’s plenty more where that came from.

Feel free to dig in and break things — that’s exactly what we need. Looking forward to seeing what you uncover!
