Partner Announcement: Free Verizon FWA Lines in July & August + Dragon Supply Update

Hey Nomad FWA Partners,

I hope this message finds you well. Today, I want to give you a full and honest update on what’s happening behind the scenes — the good, the bad, and the exciting.

:dragon: Let’s Start with the Hard Part: Dragon Modem Delays

We’ve been hearing your questions and feeling your frustration about the delay in Dragon modem orders — and I want to take a moment to address this head-on.

Here’s the reality: We’re simply running out of modem inventory every single week. Our demand across both retail customers and wholesale partners like you has surged — and the modem supply chain hasn’t caught up. The shortage is especially painful when it comes to the Dragon modems, which have become one of our most popular models due to their strong performance and reliability.

We’re currently working closely with Verizon to increase our allocation of these modems, and they’ve been a supportive partner. That said, the increase in supply won’t happen overnight. Based on the latest estimates, it may take a few months before we can consistently fulfill Dragon orders at the volume our partners need.

We know that’s disappointing. You’ve built sales channels, marketing funnels, and onboarding processes — and when our inventory runs dry, it impacts your momentum. We don’t take that lightly.

:raising_hands: The Good News: Free Service for July & August — Unlimited Activations

Now, while we’re waiting on the modem inventory to stabilize, we’re not sitting still. We wanted to do something meaningful to support our partners, show our appreciation, and give you a way to stay active and growing.

So here it is:

:tada: We’re offering completely FREE Verizon FWA service on all new and existing lines for the months of July and August.

This is our way of saying thank you for sticking with us and helping us build something amazing. It’s also a way to help you stay on offense — even during a supply shortage.

:wrench: What’s Included:

  • :white_check_mark: 100% Free Service on every line you activate or already have active
  • :white_check_mark: Unlimited Line Activations — there’s no cap
  • :white_check_mark: Available this week
  • :white_check_mark: You can use your own modems or request a SIM card from us (no charge)

Yes, you read that right — you can bring your own compatible modem or request SIMs from our team, and we’ll activate the lines for free. You won’t be charged for service during July or August.

:light_bulb: What This Means for You

This promotion gives you a unique opportunity to:

  • Jumpstart new customer relationships by offering “free internet” backed by Nomad
  • Grow your FWA business at zero cost — try out new marketing campaigns, test new lead sources, or re-engage cold leads
  • Expand your brand reach — every new activation is a chance to build reputation and referrals
  • Stay engaged while we stabilize hardware supply

This is more than just a promo — it’s a tool to help you keep growing even when supply chain issues try to slow us down.

:memo: How to Take Advantage

Here’s all you need to do:

  1. Use your own compatible modem (any unlocked modem that supports Verizon’s FWA SIM cards will work), or
  2. Request SIM cards from our team — we’ll ship them to you free of charge.
  3. Activate the line through your dashboard or request activation support from our team.
  4. Enjoy free service for July and August — no strings attached.

Want to launch a bulk campaign or need help onboarding a large group of customers? Reach out — we’re happy to assist.

:speech_balloon: Final Thoughts

We know how hard you’re working. We see the energy you’re putting in. And we know that delays — especially supply delays — can be incredibly frustrating. We’re committed to solving those issues long-term, and we’re equally committed to supporting you in the meantime.

This community of FWA partners is special. Together, we’re redefining what rural and nomadic internet looks like. Let’s use this free line promotion as a springboard for more installs, more momentum, and more success — for your brand and ours.

We’ll keep you posted on the modem inventory progress. In the meantime, let’s light up as many lines as we can.

Thanks for being part of the Nomad journey.

With gratitude, The Nomad Internet Team

Thanks for your update. We will be standing by ready to take it to the next level, well you know once we have invt ;-). Y’all have a good day

Brandon

How does this work for those already on service since July is almost over? Will the daily fees paid all month be credited back to our wallet?

I’m interested to see how this is handled also.

@tfarmer8 these can be activated as a BYOD service stack on OASIS. You will need to get your own modem in regards to this.
It will be the same process as Dragon modems, only stack will be changed to BYOD instead of Nomad Certified stack.

You can directly reach out to us on support channel and we will help you get this sorted out.
Please let me know as soon as the refund is processed so that we can start working on your return process of your 6 modems.

These SIM cards are only compatible with BYOD(Bring your Own device) not with dragon devices.
You will need to source your own modem for this.

Please make sure these are activated with BYOD modems apart from the dragon modems.
If these are activated with your own modems, please provide me with the ICCID of the SIM cards and IMEI of the device so that I can investigate this further.

When can I expect to receive my modems? I’m still being billed for the one line tied to my Oasis account. Even when I add another BYOD line, it still shows payment for service. I have four new customers I’d like to add, but I’m still waiting for my 20 modems. Do we have any updates on when they should be available? I already spoke to them about the Dragon modems, expecting to receive my order soon, but I guess there’s a backorder now. I’ll order some Inseego modems from eBay instead so that I can get them up and running for now.

I’d also appreciate more information on the free service for July and August. I have someone who’s been active all month and I’ve been paying daily fees on that one. Will I get credit back for this service? More details would be helpful.

On a different note, I recently received all my marketing materials on Monday, which I spent $450 on 12-yard signs, brochures, discount cards, and more. There’s a picture of a Dragon modem on all of the materials because I had thought this was the go-to modem. I’m very upset because I’ll be positioning equipment on my marketing materials, but the modem is not available.

Hi @My-MicRoMot

Thank you for sharing your concerns, we truly appreciate your patience and the dedication you’ve shown in building your business with us.

We completely understand how critical it is to have the right equipment and clear communication when working with new customers. Regarding your modem shipment, we’re actively working with our logistics team to resolve the delay. As soon as we receive a confirmed update on shipping and availability, we’ll make a formal announcement here on the forum. Please stay tuned, we know how important this is, and we’ll make sure you’re in the loop as soon as we have news.

In regard to your question about the free service for July and August, you’ll be receiving an official update on this by tomorrow. We’re currently finalizing the process and want to make sure everything is accurate before sharing next steps, including how credits will apply for accounts already being billed during this period.

We also understand the frustration around your marketing materials, especially after investing in signage and branding built around the Dragon modem. Your feedback has been shared with our team, and we’re committed to improving communication moving forward to prevent these kinds of challenges.

Again, we truly appreciate your commitment and enthusiasm, you’re doing amazing work. Please hang tight for the next update and feel free to reach out if you have further questions in the meantime.

Best regards.
