Currently, the reseller websites require inventory being purchased to allow
purchases to be made.

What is needed to allow direct shipment of modems/routers?

Also, I currently allow my customers to rent equipment, any support for this?

Thanks,
Josh

Josh, great question! This is something we are actively working on, and it will be made available to all our wholesalers. We’ll keep you updated as we roll it out.

Understood, I’ll keep monitoring your progress. It seems like this program might work for startups, but has a little way to go to incorporate into existing wireless ISPs like myself…

Right now, you can stock modems from your inventory, and when a customer places an order through your website, you can ship it directly to them.

Correct, I did place an order to allow this.

Got it! We definitely appreciate your patience and feedback. We’re actively working on making the program more flexible, especially for existing ISPs like yourself. If there are any specific features or changes you’d like to see, let us know—we’re always open to input!

Is there currently a way to bridge several modems together if a single account needed multiple devices for a large coverage area? How would we go about activating multiple devices on the same account and possibly only charging the business for “additional” devices? Example: Florida Big Biz, Inc. would like to switch their warehouse and distribution center to Circle Wireless. In order to obtain proper coverage on a 25k sq ft building we would need to place multiple devices. We would like to save the business money over their current solution… what would be the best case here?

Great question!

At this time, you won’t be able to use a single line across multiple devices, as each modem requires its own active line. However, you can absolutely activate multiple devices under the same account using the same billing information. That way, the business has everything under one roof, and you can still offer them a clean, unified experience.

Let me know if you’d like help setting that up or want to explore the most cost-effective way to structure it for Florida Big Biz, Inc.

Regarding the bulk sims… how, when and why would we need them? I was curious about cost and filled out the form and before i knew it, it sent in an order. We do not want them, we were simply curious on the cost of 100 t-mobile SIM cards.

Totally understand! No worries at all — the SIMs are mainly for “bring your own device” situations, in case you or your customers have compatible devices you want to activate. You’re not required to order them, and you can always stick with the pre-configured modems we provide. I’ll make sure your request isn’t processed as an order. Let me know if you have any other questions!

Oh phew!
Thank you, Isaac!

You are always welcome. Also with that said, having T-Mobile SIMs available also gives you flexibility — they allow you to activate service in areas where Verizon might not work as well. It’s a great way to ensure your customers always have reliable coverage options.

but, what modem would we even put them in?

You can use them in any Nomad-certified modem, they’re fully compatible! So whichever device you’re already offering through the platform, the SIMs will work seamlessly with it.

So they would work in/on the Dragons as well?

That’s what I am curious about, they keep saying any nomad modem but can’t get an answer if the Verizon Dragon modems will work with T-Mobile SIM card.
