Nomad Inventory Planning Guide
Helping You Stay Ready, Stay Profitable, and Serve More Customers
Whether you’re just getting started or ready to scale, having a smart inventory plan lets you stay in control, avoid delays, and boost your earnings.
This simple guide walks you through planning your stock, taking advantage of special pricing, and knowing when it makes sense to let Nomad handle fulfillment for you.
1. Set Your Monthly Sales Goal
Start by deciding how many new customers you want
This helps you plan how many modems you’ll need ready to go.
2. Build a Buffer of Stock
Based on your average sales volume, we recommend keeping at least 1–2 weeks’ modems.
Example:
If you average two weekly signups, keep five modems in stock.
This helps avoid back orders and keeps your customer experience smooth.
3. Buy Smart – While Pricing Is Low
Currently, modems are available for just $25 each as part of a special, limited-time promotion from Mr. Garza.
There’s real value in these modems—historically, we’ve sold them for anywhere between $200 and $500. When you stock and sell them yourself, you get to keep that money instead of having it go to someone else.
Stocking up now means:
• More profit on each sale
• Less waiting when orders come in
• Full control over your pricing
4. Reorder at Your Low-Stock Point
Running out of equipment can slow down your momentum and result in lost sales. That’s why deciding in advance when you’ll restock is essential—before you reach zero.
We recommend setting a personal “reorder alert point.” This is the number of modems you want left when placing your next order. It provides enough time for shipping and helps you stay prepared for the next sale.
Example:
“When I’m down to 3 modems, I’ll place my next order.”
Your reorder point might be different depending on how fast you’re selling:
• If you sell 2–3 modems a week, you might set your reorder point at 5
• If you’re starting and selling 1–2 a month, a reorder point of 2 might work
It’s also a good idea to keep track of how long it takes to receive new inventory so you can plan. If shipping takes 5–7 days, ensure you place your order with sufficient time to avoid any gaps.
The goal is always to be ready when a customer says yes so you can deliver quickly and keep your business moving.
6. Decide When to Use Nomad Fulfillment
You don’t have to keep modems in stock to stay active in the program. If you’d rather stay focused on selling—or if you run out of inventory—we’ve got you covered.

This option is perfect if:
• You’re just getting started and don’t want to buy inventory yet

It’s a great backup plan that keeps your business moving forward—even when you’re out of stock or away from the office. Depending on what works best for you, you can switch between self-fulfillment and Nomad Fulfillment at any time.
