I’m quite disappointed with the way this entire process has unfolded so far. I was genuinely excited when I first started, but the communication has become increasingly challenging lately. I’ve been trying to set up a customer account since April 26th, and I still haven’t received a resolution.
I’ve also encountered difficulties in adding the modem to the FWA Oasis Portal. It keeps saying “modem imei not found,” which is because it’s a Bring Your Own Inseego FG2000.
Could someone please assist me with this matter? I’ve been in touch with the customer for a week, informing them that I should have the account ready for them the next day. However, the next day doesn’t create a positive first impression on a new customer. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi @My-MicRoMot,
Apologies for the delay on our end. I’ve already escalated the issue regarding the BYOD modem addition to our dev team. Let me check in for an update.
Just to clarify, are we still working on the same BYOD customer you’ve been trying to activate, or is this a different case? I’m sending you a DM now. Please share all the relevant details so I can investigate and help get this resolved as quickly as possible.
Thanks for your patience!
Is there any update on this?
Hey there, we have a dedicated team investigating the issue, and we should have a resolution by the end of the day today. Your cooperation is highly appreciated while we work tirelessly to provide you with a resolution for this issue.
Ok thank you for letting me know.
Hello @oliverbrown and @JefferyHopkins, I was informed yesterday that this issue would be resolved by the end of the day yesterday. However, I’m still facing difficulties in activating the modem on T-Mobile through the Oasis site. I’m unable to get it to accept the IMEI. Could you please assist me in manually adding the IMEI? This lady has been patiently waiting for over a week now.
Hey @My-MicRoMot, just one quick question.
Can you confirm the device and SIM card you are trying to activate/add on the BYOD plan, was the SIM card sent by us?
Waiting for your response.
Bring your own sim it should be brand new, I have quite a few of them already.
Yes, the issue has been explained in chats. You will only be able to add SIM cards to BYOD that have been bought through OASIS or Wholesale program. Any 3rd party SIM cards will not be entertained with BYOD.
