Seeking Help with FWA Modem Activation and Payouts

Hi everyone,

I’m feeling a bit lost and could really use some guidance on the customer activation process for modems, specifically for fixed wireless access (FWA).

I’m trying to figure out if I’m supposed to manually add each new customer to a platform like “fwaoasis exchange” or if they’re able to activate their own modem. What’s the standard procedure here? Is it a “plug and play” process for the customer, or is there an administrative step I need to take?

Also, on the business side of things, I’m completely in the dark about how and when we get paid. When a customer activates their service, how does the payment process work? Is there a specific billing cycle, or does it happen immediately? Any insight into the payment structure would be incredibly helpful.

Thanks for reaching out!

To activate a customer’s modem, simply direct them to the “Activations” tab on your FWA Agent website. From there, they can follow the on-screen instructions to complete activation. Once submitted, their service should be up and running within approximately 2 hours.

While you can manually create a service for a customer, we strongly recommend using the “Activate” feature on your website. This ensures that a service is automatically created under your administrator account, allowing you to easily track and manage all customer activity from a single dashboard.

:small_blue_diamond: Important Note:
Only devices purchased through the FWA Agents platform (i.e., stocked in your inventory, order fulfilled by us) can be activated using this method. The FWA Agent program does not currently support BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) activations.

:money_bag: Payout & Billing

To receive payments, you’ll need to connect your Stripe account with your FWA Agent portal. If you’re unsure whether it’s already linked, I’d be happy to check for you. If it’s not yet connected, I can send you a secure link via DM to complete the setup.

Once everything is set up, you’ll receive your payouts at the end of each month after your initial 30-day billing cycle is completed.
