Does the Dragon modems we purchase on the wholesale/Oasis programs offer multi carrier technology? Are we able to use both Verizon Wireless and T-Mobile services on them? Are we able to use a SIM card from MVNO that use Verizon as their carrier? I ask cause of nomads X post
In my TMobile thread, this is what was said:
Thank you for reaching out and for your interest in the Dragon modem. We wanted to provide some clarity around current compatibility and upcoming updates.
While the Dragon modem does technically support dual SIM functionality on the consumer side, we want to be transparent that dual SIM carrier support is not yet enabled for wholesale use. Our team is actively working on this integration, and we’re excited to roll it out in the near future — we’ll be sure to keep you informed as soon as it’s officially launched.
Just a quick heads-up in the meantime — the Dragon modem is currently not compatible with T-Mobile SIM cards. It has been specifically designed and optimized for Verizon’s network to ensure top-tier performance and reliability. As such, it only supports Verizon SIMs and may not function correctly, if at all, with SIMs from other carriers.
We absolutely understand the need for flexibility and are aware of the increasing demand for T-Mobile-compatible devices within the wholesale program. Rest assured, we’re working diligently to expand our device offerings and support broader carrier options.
If you have any questions in the meantime or need help with anything else, feel free to reach out. We’re here to support you every step of the way.
Is there a way to schedule a reboot with the dragon modem? Ex every night at 1AM it performs a scheduled restart?
Hey there My-MicRoMot, for that you would need to login to your modem dashboard & check/adjust the schedule from there.
