When will T-Mobile Modems be available in the store?

The marketing images for the store showed inSeego modems, which are not currently in the store. There are some Nomad specific models but those look like they’re primarily for Verizon.

Verizon is the most reliable for most of my customers, but I have some very urban deployments I wish to make that would benefit from the “uncapped” speed of tmobile. 100mbps is not enough for these situations, so I wish to utilize the “up to” 600mbps of tmobile, since they don’t seem to throttle speed as hard.

Thanks for reaching out! We’re currently in the process of upgrading our inventory and will have Inseego modems available in the store very soon. These models will offer strong T-Mobile support and deliver significantly better speeds—ideal for high-demand urban deployments like yours.

We completely understand the need for more bandwidth, especially when working in environments where Verizon’s capped speeds just aren’t cutting it. The upcoming Inseego models will help you take full advantage of T-Mobile’s higher potential throughput, including those “up to” 600 Mbps speeds.

Stay tuned—we’ll announce as soon as they’re live in the store! Let us know if you’d like a heads-up once they arrive.

Please do! I have a few interesting experiments I’d like to try out with them prior to selling/deploying.

Does any of the inseego modems you guys have coming have SMA ports? My ideal setup is going to be 4x SMA to do 4x4 MIMO but may can get by with 2x2 MIMO.

Thanks for reaching out! The Inseego devices we provide (FX2000, FG2000, and FW2000) do not support SMA ports, so they wouldn’t be compatible with external SMA antennas for MIMO setups.

If you’re looking for a setup that supports 4x4 MIMO with SMA ports, we recommend “The Dragon” device. It comes equipped with the ports necessary for connecting 4 external SMA antennas, making it ideal for high-performance MIMO configurations.

Let me know if you’d like to switch to the Dragon or need help choosing the best setup for your needs!

The Dragon (Verizon Business Gateway) is optimized for, well, Verizon. Does it have all of TMos bands? Can it run a TMo sim?

Hey @stephenobws

Just a quick heads-up — the Dragon device is not compatible with T-Mobile SIM cards. It’s specifically engineered for use with the Verizon network and is fully optimized to deliver the best possible performance on Verizon’s infrastructure. Because of this, it only supports Verizon SIMs and won’t function properly, if at all, with SIM cards from other carriers.

We understand that compatibility is an important factor when choosing a device, and we truly appreciate your interest. At the moment, the Dragon is the best choice for the wholesalers. However, we recognize the growing demand for T-Mobile-compatible options, and we’re actively working on expanding our offerings.

As soon as we begin offering modems that support T-Mobile SIM cards, we’ll make sure to notify you right away so you can take full advantage of that option when it becomes available.

In the meantime, if you have any questions or if there’s anything else we can assist you with, feel free to reach out. We’re always here to help!

That’s what my understanding was, and was simply clarifying what Jeffrey said for others happening upon this thread.

According to nomads advertisements, the dragon modems they use are able to support multiple carriers. I asked if ours could support both carriers and was told no. I was told from day 1 that the dragon modems only work for Verizon Wireless. I understand that but how does it work for multiple carriers on the nomad side and can’t be configured for our side to work both as well?

Hey @WolfeWireless
Just wanted to share a quick update—this issue has been resolved in our latest update!

Previously, due to a glitch on our website, customers were able to select the Nomad Dragon device with the T-Mobile 500 Mbps plan, even though the Dragon isn’t compatible with that plan. When we received those orders, our team would personally reach out to explain the mismatch and ensure the customer still got the right device—typically switching to a compatible option like the Inseego.

That said, the glitch has now been fixed with our recent update, so everything should work smoothly moving forward. I hope this brings clarity. If you any question, feel free to ask. More than happy to help!
